Waka Waka - SHAKIRA and the 2010 FIFA World Cup (UPDATEs)

One of this blog's famous floWers of inspiration, SHAKIRA is making NEWS again...




and sadly I don't have too much free time these days (until the Fall!) to develop articles as much as I'd like, but this topic deserves a special mention!
(and on the CANCER / Keystone resonating date of 6/9, no less! The symbol for the Zodiac sign of Cancer is a 69.)

SHAKIRA, the She Wolf (floW), has written and released the official theme song for the 2010 FIFA World Cup, live from sync-maestro and Winnipeg transplant, Jake Kotze's native land of South Africa and more specifically the District 9 city of Johannesburg (JOHN/OANNES/ION City).



(SIDE NOTE: my apologies to those Gulf States readers if that reminds you of the "Prawns biz" lost to the recent Deepwater HoRizon tragedy bleeding oil into the Gulf)






SHAKIRA's 2010 World Cup theme song is called
"WAKA WAKA (This time for Africa)"

Which my english reading eyes and brain processes as (although it has a different meaning on the Dark Continent)

"Wakey Wakey", or "Awake Awake" !

I found it interesting that the "Urban Dictionary" lists a modern western term "WAKKA-WAKKA" as

1. peace to you, war to you 2. good to you, bad to you
This phrase is most ordinarily used in times of complete confusion, when there is nothing else one could say, especially for those who regularly have panic attacks. Thus, it is really a nonsensical phrase that actually has a meaning and its meaning does not have to actually be the above, but a similar arrangement of positive wishes to others, followed by its antonymical negative wish. e.g. gumbo to you, nutra rat stew to you.

The closest translation to English of the African phrase "Waka-Waka" is "Do it".
Like the meaning of the phrase in the NIKE "Just Do It" campaign...

Zaminamina (Tsamina mina and tsangalewa / "Zamina Mina Zangalewa Eh Eh"), another phrase she uses throughout the song, "TsaMINa MINa" also apparently means "Come", and the full phrase could translate from the african (Cameroonian language called "Fang" - so very appropriate for the "She wolF"!) to "Where do you Come From?" / "Where are you from?"

(Perhaps JAKE himself will comment and fill us in on any deeper meanings behind the phrases.)

(SIDE NOTE: Disney's movie "The Lion King" featured samples of the 1986 "Golden Sounds / Zangalewa" original "Tsamina Mina Zangalewa" song eventually reworked by SHAKIRA and Freshlyground into the 2010 World Cup theme song. The Original song was apparently a tribute to African fighters in World War 2. "W"aka - "W"aka A.A.)



You might also note that the video opens on the word "ASTER" (A Star/ASTARTE/ISHTAR) of "MasterCard" and the first player is wearing the #3 PUMA jersey.
Puma of course is also known as the "mountain Lion!"
Mountain = Mount TIN, Olympus and mountain of Zeus/Jupiter - (from the metal TIN associated with the planet and alchemical symbol for Jupiter) if you've been keeping up at the Synch Whole blog

ISHTAR and ZEUS (in a song and video by SHAKIRA / Shekhinah)
gives us both the "Queen and King of Heaven".

Shakira rocks the World Cup's Waka Waka with schoolkids in South Africa"

Shakira, the Colombian singer well known for her dancing as well as her efforts to promote early childhood education, visited a South African school Wednesday ahead of the Thursday concert kicking off soccer's World Cup, aiming to bring attention to 1Goal: Education for All -- and to rock the Waka Waka, the official World Cup dance.

Students at the Isu-lihle primary school in Soweto, Johannesburg, got to meet the "Hips Don't Lie" singer and give the Waka Waka a whirl.

Shakira Epic Sync-Winks the 17 (UPDATES)

Well isn't that an interesting coincidence!

Just 36 hours after my Shakira SOS Article and Aceshowbiz.com is reporting that her record label, Epic Records, bumped the release date of Shakira - She Wolf from October 13,2009 (10.13) to November 17,2009 (11.17)!

Although it was originally scheduled to hit U.S. stores on October 13, the third English studio album from the Columbian singer will not come out until mid-November. --- Fans apparently have to wait longer to get a hold of Shakira's "She Wolf". The third English studio album, which was set to be released in U.S. stores on October 13, reportedly will not arrive until more than a month later. In the store section of record label Epic Records' site, the singer's latest effort is listed to be released on November 17.

Of the upcoming album, the 32-year-old has opened up to MTV earlier about what to expect. "It's a very electronic album," she stated. "Dance-oriented. Club-oriented. I want people to have fun with it. Forget about the troubles. Forget about the crisis. Forget everything for a minute - at least while they listen to the music."

For "She Wolf", the Columbian songstress teamed up with Pharrell Williams and Wyclef Jean. She incorporates elements of Colombian, Indian, Middle Eastern and African musical styles in this studio project. Lead single which title is also "She Wolf" has been released and topped U.S. Billboard Latin Songs. A music video for the track has also been premiered.

About the song, she previously told Rolling Stone, " 'She Wolf' came to me very mysteriously, I was in the studio in a bad mood that day, then I got inspired and went to a corner and I wrote the lyrics and the melody in 10 minutes. The image of the she wolf just came to my head, and when I least expected it I was howling and panting."

Apparently due to sliding chart numbers for the track "SHE WOLF", EPIC wants to try again with Shakira's - She Wolf cd track entitled "Did it Again"

Actually, I'll point out a few interesting coincidences and we can speculate together in the Post Comments...

World famous Colombian singer Shakira received the ‘Child Right Award’ from UNICEF Germany on Monday, the organization's press office reported.

"Shakira has committed herself to the children and young people of the world’ Regine Stachelhaus, Executive Director of UNICEF Germany, said at the presentation of the award in Offenburg, Germany.

The ‘Child Rights Award’ recognizes the sustained commitment of stars who volunteer as UNICEF international ambassadors to help children and young people to get involved against violence, poverty, and AIDS, and advocate for their right to education.

Shakira has been a UNICEF ambassador since 2003 and has represented UNICEF worldwide. She is also the founder of projects that promote young children education, such as the Barefoot School in Colombia, the International Barefoot Foundation, and ALAS Foundation for Latin America.

On Monday 9.21.09 Shakira was awarded the ‘Child Right Award’. (CRA / ARC!)

November 16 will be a New Moon

November 17 and 18 will be the Leonids Meteor Shower. The Leonids is one of the better meteor showers to observe, producing an average of 40 meteors per hour at their peak. The shower itself has a cyclic peak year every 33 years where hundreds of meteors can be seen each hour. The last of these occurred in 2001. The shower peaks this year on November 17 & 18, but you can usually see some meteors from November 13 - 20. The moon will be totally out of the way this year (in New Moon phase), providing an exceptional viewing experience for the Leonids. Look for the shower radiating from the constellation Leo after midnight.
Regulus is the most well-known star in the Constellation Leo.
Regulus is Archangel Raphael - one of the Four Royal Stars of ancient Persian astronomy, the Four Guardians of Heaven. (see also: The Four Horseman)

Regulus enters the sign Virgo in 2012 AD. It entered the sign Leo in 156 BC.

Regulus is one of the four key stars in the heavens, also called archangel stars, assigning:

Tasoheter - Michael (Aldebaran) watcher of the East;

Satevis - Oriel/Uriel (Antares) Watcher of the West;

Hastorang - Gabriel (Fomalhaut) watcher of the South;

Venant - Raphael (Regulus) Watcher of the North.

Here's the inhumanly sexy She Wolf herself, Shakira!
(full name: Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll)
She Wolf is both the title and title song of Shakira's new CD Release.
(Which coincidentally will be released in the U.S. on OCTOBER 13, 2009 (10.13)!
(10.12 in most of Europe - to coincide with Aleister Crowley's Birthday)

Shakira performed on January 18, 2009 at the Lincoln Memorial "We Are One" festivities in honor of the inauguration of President Barack Obama where She performed "Higher Ground" with Stevie Wonder and Usher. She also performed during the evening of January 20, 2009 at the Neighborhood Ball for the President's inauguration.

LUPUS, The SHE-WOLF, is in the Southern Skies. Dancing East to West along the HOR-I-ZON line.

The CAGE being the RIGHT ASCENSION/DEC lines that form grid-like (cage-like) celestial guide lines. Much like the lines of Latitude and Longitude on a map, only in the heavens.

You see her dancing through the pink/red (sunset) ruby cave sky (00:22), with twinkling crystals just like STARS...


You see her dancing with her half-there (half skin - half black material) horizon line dress... (and to digress looking f-ing gorgeous doing it!)


A mere 3 seconds into the video and we are told, symbolically by the Moon through the doorway, to go outside and look at the SKY.

So outside we go...

At 17:00 hrs local time looking south from Washington DC we see LUPUS / The WOLF dead center of the Southern sky view on the horizon:
