A transit of Venus across the Sun takes place when the planet Venus passes directly between the Sun and Earth, obscuring a small portion of the solar disk. During a transit, Venus can be seen from Earth as a small black disk moving across the face of the Sun. The duration of such transits is usually measured in hours (the transit of 2004 lasted six hours).

These Transits of Venus across the face of the Sun, from our vantage point on planet Earth occur in a regular repeating pattern...

The Pattern in reverse from the year 2012 is:

In the MAYA and AZTEC culture in meso-america, the planet Venus was identified with the god QUETZALCOATL and was very important in the development of the Maya Calendar - the cycles of which are thought to end on Friday 21 December 2012 (12/21/12).

It is interesting to note that the Constellation of TAURUS is associated with the religious notion of "HEAVEN" and the Constellation of SCORPIO is associated with HADES and the notion of HELL or the Underworld.

The Planet VENUS is also known as VESPER (the Evening Star) and LUCIFER (The Morning Star).

From the list above we can see "Lucifer" moving back and forth between HEAVEN and HELL during the Transits of Venus - in a cycle of (8 + 105.5 + 8 + 121.5) = 243 years



The Cyclical Nature of the Transits of Venus

The sidereal period of Venus is 224.701 days and that of the Earth is 365.256 days. The synodic period for Venus, or the period between successive appearances of Venus at the same point relative to the Sun as seen from the Earth, is 583.924 days. It can be shown that 5 synodic periods of Venus (2919.62 days) corresponds very closely to 8 Earth orbital periods (2922.05 days) or indeed 13 orbital periods of Venus (2921.11 days). This underpins the 8 year periodicity in the transits of Venus.

Thus the myth of the Pentagram and LUCIFER is born...

Amazing what a little knowledge of ASTRONOMY can do to mythology!


So, the next time you hear someone talk about "LUCIFER" and "THE DEVIL", you can explain to them from whence that myth actually originates!



(SIDE NOTE:)
Some scholars and archaeo-astronomers, such as Immanuel Velikovsky believe, due to current orbital and rotational anomalies, that planet VENUS / LUCIFER once wreaked havoc on Earth - through an unstable orbit and a close approach to (and perhaps even impact with) our planet...

... Bumping our Earth and moving it approximately 5.256 days out of orbit - forever disconnecting the origin of the circle of 360 degrees from a now altered Earth orbit of 365.256 days.

... but I'll leave you to explore the validity of those ideas and how they might fit into mythology on your own!

Chuck, StarG8, Jim Carrey, Yes Man, JASoN, SRI and the CARMICHAEL Number (with BONUS SYNCH)

This past weekened (3.27.2010 - 3.28.2010) I finally got around to watching the movie "YES MAN" starring Jim Carrey, from start to finish (twice actually).





The "Synchromystic Factor" of this movie is a 10 out of 10 and I highly recommend it for anyone interested in Synchromysticism and Semiotics.

But first, be forewarned, this brief exploration surrounding the movie YES MAN will soon enough take a personal turn down High Weirdness Lane.

So it's Saturday night, 3.27.2010, the missus and I decide to stay in and have a couch nite with a flick, since we had just returned from a whirlwind week in Las Vegas,NV earlier that morning. (and that town's a synch-article all to itself - perhaps one day I'll feel adventurous enough to post one.)

But back to our story - We browse the On-Demand video guide paging click-by-click through the titles, checking the various synopses and credits, sadly nothing really catches the eye. We mull over a couple titles passing the usual couples' question "What about this one, Hun?" but after several "weelll's" "no's" "Nah, not into that's" and "definitely not that one's" we decide to have a peek at the cable movie channels instead.

We exit the On-Demand menus and return the regular scheduled programming world of cable. Browsing the movie channel guide I happened to spot the title "YES MAN" starring Jim Carrey and to make this story short, we had found our selection for the evening.

Now I'm not really going to get in to the wonderful symbolism embedded in this movie in this article - sorry to those who may have been hoping I would. I will save that task for another article. Besides the movie has been touched on by several other synchromystics since its initial theatrical release.

The Wikipedia page for the YES MAN movie tells us:

Yes Man is a 2008 comedy film directed by Peyton Reed, written by Nicholas Stoller, Jarrad Paul and Andrew Mogel and starring Jim Carrey, Zooey Deschanel, Bradley Cooper, John Michael Higgins and Rhys Darby. The film is based loosely on the true story and 2005 book Yes Man by British humourist Danny Wallace (who has a cameo appearance in the film).

The film was a box office success despite receiving mixed reviews from critics. It was released on December 19, 2008, opening at #1 at the box office in its first weekend with $18.3 million and was then released on December 26, 2008 in the United Kingdom going straight to the top of the box office in its first weekend after release. Production for the film began in October 2007 in Los Angeles, CA.

From that article, we learn that the movie is loosely based on a book, with the same title, by author/journalist Danny Wallace



The regular readers will recognize some of the obvious Superman symbolism on book's cover that we've touched on in previous articles here at Strange Eye. But like I mentioned earlier, we're not going to get into the symbolism in this article.

So the missus and I watched our movie from start to finish, which turned out to be the perfect fair for the evening (and very synchromystically satisfying as well I might add!). Having read some of the previous synchromystics' works and articles on the topic of Yes Man I was primed and ready to spot their discoveries as we watched.

While I definitely saw what they saw in the movie, something else jumped out at me...
The mention of the number "561". (it actually occurs throughout the movie in symbol which you will notice if you watch closely)

Loving number symbols as I do (and though that be perhaps to the uninterest of some Strange Eye readers) I immediately noted the references to the first CARMICHAEL NUMBER, 561

You can check the Wikipedia link for more info on what exactly a CARMICHAEL NUMBER is... but in this case, the case of the number 561, it immediately has my attention.

561 is the sum of all the digits from 1 to the notorious 33.
but in CARMICHAEL NUMBER notation it is also the result of
3 x 11 x 17 = 561

And perhaps you've noticed why it grabbed my attention, containing both the 33 and the 17.

And as my fellow synch blogger Christopher Knowles over at The Secret Sun likes to say... "Where 17 is found, 33 is sure to follow"

Chris's statement proves true again in this case, as this CARMICHAEL NUMBER, 561, has both the 33 and 17 contained within it.

Now before this story takes its turn, I'd like to mention once again, that I'm a fan of the NBC TV series Chuck, starring Zachary Levi.






The Wikipedia page for CHUCK says:

Chuck is an action-comedy television program from the United States created by Josh Schwartz and Chris Fedak. The series is about an "average computer-whiz-next-door" who receives an encoded e-mail from an old college friend now working in the CIA; the message embeds the only remaining copy of the world's greatest spy secrets into Chuck's brain.

Carmichael has been referred to as where Chuck thought he would be by this time in in his life had he not been expelled from Stanford: a millionaire semiretired software magnate. Ironically, his fantasy alias has gained actual respect in the spy community: in "Chuck Versus the Predator," Fulcrum agent Vincent told Chuck he's heard of him.

And it is here that we see the collision of the symbols...
Superman - Clark Kent and the CARMICHAEL number (561) in the name of CHUCK's alter-ego spy alias, "Charles Carmichael".

And since my recent work on the Palo Alto/TESLA Motors plane crash also touched on SRI International - which was founded as the STANFORD Research Institute - you can see where the loose connections begins to coalesce.

I would like to point out for the readers not familiar with "SRI International" that it is notorious for its fringe research projects for the CIA and the intelligence community at-large - and probably most famously so, for its work on the subject of REMOTE VIEWING, with guys like the nicknamed DR DOOM, Major Ed Dames, Joe McMoneagle, Ingo Swann and Hal Puthoff in Project STARGATE

The project and the subject of remote viewing was depicted in the movie "Suspect Zero (2004)"





and more recently through the movie "The Men Who Stare at Goats (2009)" starring the synchromystic-favorites of George Clooney, Ewan McGregor, Jeff Bridges, and Kevin Spacey.











So there we have it... a few loose and dubious connections strung together to give you some background info before the High Weirdness...

So lets jump back to the original topic of my viewing of the movie Yes Man and the Carmichael Number.

So now we're at Sunday (3.28.2010) and the movie replays on the same cable network, I finish watching the movie and like any good little blogger these days I take a minute to micro-blog about having finally watched the movie YES MAN in 140 characters or less on Twitter

Bullied teen commits suicide in Johnson County town

An eighth-grader in the Johnson County town of Joshua hanged himself over the weekend, and - like other recent child suicides - his death is being linked to bullying.

Jon Carmichael, a 13-year-old student at Loflin Middle School, committed suicide in a barn near his home, KDFW-TV (Channel 4) reports.

The boy's family says Jon was bullied at school, including being stuffed into a trash can during gym class.

The school district's superintendent told KTVT-TV (Channel 11) said he just heard about the trash can incident this week and that it's under investigation.

The boy's suicide follows the February hanging death of 9-year-old Montana Lance of The Colony, as well as the highly publicized Massachusetts case of a 15-year-old Irish girl who was bullied before hanging herself in January.

Winning Canada's First Home Gold

Bilodeau was a member of the Canadian moguls team going to the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. He started the competition on Sunday, February 14th in favourable conditions. This was in contrast to the previous day for the women in which they skied in rain, sleet, and generally slushy conditions. Bilodeau finished the qualification run in 2nd place overall. In the final Alexandre Bilodeau threw a back double full on the first jump and followed it with a back iron cross on the second. His jump and style scores combined with the second fastest run of the night, saw him scoring 26.75 points to win the gold. With the gold he became the first Canadian to win a Gold Medal during a Canadian-hosted Olympics.

Reaction to Bilodeau's gold medal win was immediate with Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper calling Bilodeau and telling him that "Canadian families across the country are proud of you, Alex". Provincial leaders, including Quebec Premier Jean Charest, British Columbia Premier Gordon Campbell and Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty all personally praised his win. In Vancouver itself Canadians celebrated near the Olympic torch on Vancouver's waterfront. Crowds spilled onto Robson Street in downtown Vancouver waving the flag and singing the Canadian national anthem.
