There are very few moments in our lives where we have the privilege to witness history taking place. This is one of those moments. This is one of those times.
The people of Egypt have spoken, their voices have been heard and Egypt will never be the same.
By stepping down President Mubarak responded to the Egyptian peoples' hunger for change. But this is not the end of Egypt's transition, it is the beginning.
I'm sure there will be difficult days ahead and many questions remain unanswered. But I am confident that the people of Egypt can find the answers and do so peacefully, constructively, and in the spirit of unity that has defined these last few weeks.
For Egyptians have made it clear that nothing less than genuine democracy will carry the day.
The military has served patriotically and responsibly as a caretaker to the state and will now have to ensure a transition that is credible in the eyes of the Egyptian people. That means protecting the rights of Egypt's citizens, lifting the Emergency Law, revising the constitution and other laws making this change irreversible and laying out a clear path to elections that are fair and free.
Above all this transition must bring all of Egypt's voices to the table - for the Spirit of peaceful protest and perseverance that the Egyptian people have shown can serve as a Powerful Wind at the back of this change
The United States will continue to be a friend and partner to Egypt. We stand ready to provide whatever assistance is necessary and asked for to pursue a credible transition to democracy. I'm also confident that the same ingenuity and entrepreneurial spirit that the young people of Egypt have shown in recent days can be harnessed to create new opporunities jobs and businesses that allow the extraordinary potential of this generation to take flight.
And I know that a democratic Egypt can advance its role of responsble leadership not only in the region but around the world.
Egypt has played a pivotal role in human history for over 6000 years but over the last few weeks the wheel of history turned at a blinding pace as the Egyptian people demanded their Universal rights.
We saw mothers and fathers carrying their children on their shoulders to show them what true freedom might look like.
We saw young Egyptians say, "for the first time in my life I really count. My voice is heard. Even though I'm only one person.". This is the way real democracy works.
We saw protesters chant "salmiya salmiya" - "we are peaceful" - again and again.
We saw a military that would not fire bullets at the people they were sworn to protect and we say doctors and nurses rushing in to the streets to care for those who were wounded.

We saw people of faith praying together and chanting "Muslims, Christians we are one".
and though we know that the strains between faiths still divide too many in this world and no single event will close that chasm immediately.
These scenes remind us that we need not be defined by our differences, we can be defined by the common humanity that we share and above all we saw a new generation emerge. a genenration that uses their own creativity and talent and technology to call for a governemtn that represented their hopes and not their fears. A government that is responsive to their boundless aspirations.
One Egyptian put it simply, "most people have discovered in the last few days that they are worth something and this can not be taken away from them anymore. Ever." This is power of human dignity. And it can never be denied.
Egyptians have inspired us and they’ve done so by putting the lie of the idea that justice is best gained through violence. For in Egypt, it was the moral force of nonviolence, not terrorism, not mindless killing, but nonviolence, moral force that bent the arc of history to moral justice once more.
And while all of the sights and sounds we heard were entirely Egyptian, we can’t help but hear the echoes of history. Echoes from Germans tearing down a wall, Indonesian students taking to the streets. Ghandi leading his people down the path of justice.
As Martin Luther King said in celebrating the birth of a new nation in Ghana, while trying to perfect his own, "There is something in the soul that cries out for freedom." Those were the cries that came from Tahrir Square and the entire world has taken note.
Today belongs to the people of Egypt and the American people are moved by the scenes in cairo and across Egypt because of who we are as a people and the kind of world we want our children to grow up in.
The word Tahrir means Liberation. It is a word that speaks to that something in our souls that cries out for freedom and forevermore it will remind us of the Egyptian people. Of what they did of the things that they stood for and how they changed their country and in doing so changed the world.

During the Austrian July Revolt of 1927 (also known as Black Friday), 84 protesters were killed by Austrian police forces[1], while four policemen died, on July 15, 1927. More than 600 people were injured.
The clash was the result of conflict between the Social Democrats and an alliance including wealthy industrialists and the Roman Catholic Church in Austria. Both paramilitary forces had been created during the 1920s, namely the right-wing Heimwehr in 1921-1923 and the left-wing Republikanischer Schutzbund in 1923.
A clash between those groups in Schattendorf, Burgenland, on January 30, 1927 resulted in the death of a man and a child. Right-wing veterans were indicted for those deaths at a court in Vienna in July, but acquitted in a jury trial. This led to a general strike which had the aim of bringing down the government headed by Chancellor Ignaz Seipel. Massive protests resulted in a fire at the Justizpalast in Vienna. Police minister Johann Schober attempted to suppress the protests with force, which resulted in 84 deaths.
The First Battle of Bull Run, also known as the First Battle of Manassas (the name used by Confederate forces and still often used in the Southern United States), was fought July 21, 1861, near Manassas, Virginia. It was the first major land battle of the American Civil War.

Published On Thu Jan 28 2010 - A block of the Financial District has reopened following a five-hour closure after window panes fell 27 floors from a King Street skyscraper this afternoon, littering the ground below with shattered glass.
Pieces of glass from three giant window panes fell from the Royal Trust Tower at 77 King St. W., next to the TD Canada Trust building, this morning after a piece of wood slammed into the 27th and 28th floors at around 8 a.m., police said.
The wood swung from construction on the north side of the First Canadian Place building across the street, said Sgt. Nancy Van Veghel.
Van Veghel said shards of glass and debris fell from the skyscraper throughout the morning as construction workers replaced the broken windows. Pedestrians and traffic were still moving on the streets below until King Street was closed at around 11 a.m. between York and Bay streets.
The street was reopened at 3:45 p.m.
Strong gusts of wind that caused the scaffolding to crash into the windows also made the area more hazardous, said Staff Sgt. John Boyce of 52 division. He said the windows are about 10-feet-tall and 5-feet-wide.
Glass was falling around us while we were here and shattered near our feet,” Van Veghel said, while at the scene. She said all she could hear was “just a loud, loud crash.
“It was only about 10 feet from us, and I don’t think it was a huge piece, but we realized we had to completely shut this down immediately.”
Offices and businesses in the area did not close down or evacuate employees.
The 504 King streetcar was re-routed but regular service has now resumed.

UPDATE 8: THE SECRET
I've received several messages basically asking me the question "How do you get 7/2/2010 from the State of the Union Address Strange Eye!!"??? (expletives omitted of course ;)
Well let's see if we can explain a couple of the finer details of the procedure a little Bit Better... To truly understand it, however, you would need to fully understand exactly how Alchemical Information has been encoded into everyday works, innocuously and generally unnoticed, since writing was first invented... But that's something you'll need to figure out and explore on your own.

The picture on this post, taken 1/27/2010, shows half a Black Sun (Schwarze Sonne - see post comments)
This points us to SUN, the Cult of the Black SUN and the Summer Solstice on June 21,2010.
It also point to the midpoint of the YEAR. The year cleaved in Half to be exact - as years are measured based on the orbitting of the SUN.
Half the year is JULY 2. July 2 is the 183rd day of the year (and 182 remain in the year) in the Gregorian calendar.
22 (based on the number of visible sections in the half Schwarze Sonne) is exactly 1 half of the president - Obama is the 44th President.
Some Semiotic Cryptic Alchemical observances:

July 2, 2010 is 11 days after the solstice. July 4, 2010 is Independence Day (and June 21,2010 in the JULIan Calendar) and is 13 days after the Summer Solstice.
As 1/27 was a feastday of St. JULIan, combined with the other semiotic observances noted previously in this article all pointing to JULY, we intuitively should look for another St JULYan feastday in JULY.
We find that feastday on 7/2/2010.
We also find that the first ":" (colon) doesn't appear until after the 13th word of the first line of the address. That character ":" is INDEPENDENT on the end of the first line (appears only once) and throughout the official distribution copy of the speech it appears a total of 11 times. (that's 22 "." individual dots, if you're paying attention!)
It is also made up of "2" dots/periods stacked upon each other vertically ":"
Go to the solstice, jump forward 13 days (before the appearance of the : in the speech, 1 day per word) to Independence Day, JULY 4th, 2010. Back up 2 days, 1 for each dot of the colon and you arrive at JULY 2, 2010.
To the TEXT: with interpreted instructions appearing between the sqaure brackets "[ ]"
"Madame Speaker, Vice President Biden, Members of Congress, distinguished guests, and fellow Americans:" [13 words until "the speech begins". The COLON ":" appears after the word AMERICANS. This is because "AMERICANS" were only "13" "COLONies" of "COLONists" until JULY 4, 1776. To be correct the COLON should appear BEFORE the word AMERICANS, so it tells us to do the mental reversal and back up in time - what this means to the date was explored in the above paragraph.]
"Our Constitution declares that from time to time [ We note in the very first paragraph, that the phrase "time to time" appears. This is a phrase which tells the reader to expect something related to "time" (and by nature, dates) to be coming up ], the President shall give to Congress information about the state of our union. As we have SUMER (by nature of the U2 to UTU reference) if we take the current year of 2010 CE and subtract 4220 we arrive at 2210 BCE or the end of the AKKADIAN period in Babylonia / Sumer.
And if we proceed through the SOTUA, as I did previously in this article we find that all of the built-in alchemical-style encrypted checksums validate each other.

A month named after the god/netjer Mont/Montu/MNT, Montu is a falcon-headed (like Hor/Heru/Horus/Re-Horakhty) god of war, in similar fashion to the more familiar greek God of War, Ares.
A hymn from an Armant Stele says of him, "the raging one who prevails over the serpent-demon Nik," and the one "who causes Re to sail in his park and who overthrows his serpent enemy". Therefore, it is perhaps not surprising that the ancient Egyptian warships were equipped with figures of a striding Montu shaking maces or spears.
Most of the cult centers of Montu appear to have been established during the Middle Kingdom, with the exception of Karnak. There, the earliest monument dates from the New Kingdom, and specifically to the reign of Amenhotep III.
Montu is commonly depicted as a man with the head of a falcon surmounted by a solar disk. He wears the double uraeus behind which two tall plumes extend vertically. Later, he became associated with the Bull Cults such as Buchis at Armant, and so he is depicted with the head of a bull/OX and a plumed, solar headdress. Another bull sacred to Montu was also worshipped at Medamud.
MONTU at Busch Gardens, Tampa Bay: ("You've got to be freakin' kidding..." ;)
On a side note: The Busch family of Busch Gardens fame is linked through property usage to "Marvel" Jack Parsons, Wilfred T Smith and L. Ron Hubbard of the Agape Lodge of the oTo (Ordo Templi Orientis).
According to the Rectified Calendar we are also in the "season" of the "Fourth Growing" which is ruled by Renenutet
"Lady of the fertile land" and "lady of granaries", a deity of fertility and harvest but she was also a protector of linen and bandages, children and their nourishment. Mother of the grain god Nepri. She also gave each child a destiny and she attended the weighing of the hearts of men in the Hall of Judgment. The Greeks called her Thermutis. Her name consisted of two parts: `rnn´ - nourishment, and `wtt´ - snake, showing something of her character. People made offerings to her during harvest time and she was depicted either as a snake or a human with a snake´s head.
In the Greco-Egyptian days she was often depicted as Isis with a snake´s head.
the ISiS (as Renenutet) in this case, falls perfectly with the "rectified egyptian festival calendar".
In the Egyptian kemetic calendar we recently entered the season of what would be called "the 4th growing".
This time during Pamenot/Pharmuthi is "ruled" by the COBRA headed goddess Renenutet.
In the later Greco-Egyptian days Renenutet was often depicted as ISIS with a snake´s head. In this form, this goddess took the names Isermithis and Thermonthis / Thermutis.
The AP reports at 7:33 pm ET that Michelle Obama " is scheduled to break ground Friday on a new garden near the fountain on the South Lawn that will supply the White House kitchen.
She will be joined by students from Bancroft Elementary School in the District of Columbia. The children will stay involved with the project, including planting the fruits, vegetables and herbs in the coming weeks and harvesting the crops later in the year..."

Unfortunately, the synch to this is MONT TREMBLANT (Trembling/Shaking Mountain/Mont) and the recent Natasha Richardson skiing tragedy. Natasha Richardson had the accident on March 16 at Mont Tremblant, Quebec, Canada and passed from life-support removal by her family's consent at 7:26 pm (ET) March 18, 2009 at the Lenox Hill Hospital in New York.
That reminds me of the recent failed TauRus XL rocket. XL is 40 in Roman Numerals X=10 L=50 so X before L = 40 It crashed on Tuesday, February 24, 2009 carrying the OCO (OCO / OTO / Oco = Eye / Oc = Hawk / Ahk )

Monday March 2, 2009: Belgian archaeologists in southern Egypt have unearthed a 3,500-year-old pharaonic official’s tomb that had disappeared under sand after it was first discovered about 130 years ago. Egypt’s Supreme Council of Antiquities said in a statement Sunday, March 1, 2009 that the Belgian team in Luxor uncovered the tomb of Amenhotep, the deputy seal-bearer for King Thutmose III who ruled Egypt in the 18th Dynasty.
March 16, 2009 Skeleton of Cleopatra's sister identified VIENNA, March 16 (UPI) -- Anthropologists say they've identified a skeleton as Princess Arsinoe, who was ordered killed by her sister Queen Cleopatra of Egypt.
"When I stood in the lab and handled the bones of Cleopatra's blood sister -- knowing that in her lifetime she touched Cleopatra and perhaps Julius Caesar and Mark Antony as well -- I felt the hairs go up on the back of my neck," said Fabian Kanz, a researcher with the Medical University of Vienna.
Kanz and his associates were asked to resolve whether a skeleton found in Turkey in 1926 was Arsinoe, killed in 41 B.C. to eliminate her as a rival to Cleopatra, last of the Egyptian pharaohs, the BBC reported Monday.
