As the world knows by know a Magnitude 8.9 Earthquake (hEartquake) has struck in the Pacific Ocean a few miles off the coast of Japan

TOKYO: Officials say Japanese automakers have halted production at plants in areas affected by Japan's massive earthquake, which killed one Honda worker.

Honda says the 42-year-old male employee died and more than 30 others were injured when walls and parts of a ceiling crumbled at a Honda Motor Co. research facility in northeastern Tochigi prefecture.

I know I'm a little late with this one...

I was away for a week but now I'm back.

Hopefully you've been perusing the articles on this blog, (and the Synch Whole) because as the sidebar to right says, no article stands alone here... you'll need the background from the other older articles here (and the extra info from the Sync Whole) to really get the most out of and fully understand the newer ones.

(For the new Strange Eye readers, and there's thousands more since the 2010 Winter Olympics, I apologize if the new articles don't carry forth all of the previously discussed info and symbols but you can't really expect me to continue to write the same things over and over and over with each additional article - each article would be a book unto itself!)


So did you watch the Men's Hockey final game of the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics on 2.28.2010?


It was a very exciting and interesting game, especially if you are Canadian!
(a special Thank You to 'Kansas', in the 24 Pierce jersey, who was my friendly rival watching the game! You made it all the more exciting brother!)

A few moments in particular stood out to me, so I thought I'd mention them, for you, the reader, to investigate...







The First

My fellow Winnipegger and Taurus, and a man who also shares my birthdate of April 29...

(ref: FlashForward day) - though Jonathan's 16 years my junior on the 119th day of the year (4.29 is also the greek St. Jason's Day - which resonates JASON the captain and Navigator of the ARGONAUTS on their quest for the Golden Fleece)

Jonathan Toews made the very first goal of the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olypics Men's Hockey final game.

Winnipegger Jonathan Toews wears #16 and is the captain of the Chicago Blackhawks.


Another was
the 2nd Team Canada goal by the 24 year old Taurus, #10 Anaheim Duck, Corey Perry, from PETERborough, Ontario. (PETER/PETRA/PATER/PTAH/STONE - it'll hopefully make sense to you later on in this article and upcoming ones!)


Then there
was the 2 - 2 assist goal by Team USA's player, Patrick KANE - #88 of the CHICAGO BLACKHAWKS, tipped in by 17th overall draft pick and #9 New Jersey Devil, Zach Parise.
Zachary Justin Parise (born July 28, 1984) of Minneapolis, MINnesota.

"Parise" of course resonates "PARIS", France.

The name Zachary resonates the Biblical prophet Zechariah.






Here's what I found noteworthy...

PATRICK is from the latin word PATER/PATRIS, meaning Father. (think PADRE)
and only a "T" separates it from PARIS.

Patrick also resonates ST. PATRICK, patron Saint of the Emerald Isle of IRELAND and whose feast day falls on the OSIRIAN date of 3/17.

8+8 is 16 which reduces to 1+6 = 7 (or ONE SEVEN)

I could literally go on for hours (and have verbally in the past) about the occult and masonic symbolism and significance behind the Biblical name KANE / CAIN (as well as the masonic name 'TUBAL-CAIN') ...

We find the following intro to CAIN in the King James Version of the Bible in GENESIS 4...

Genesis 4
1 and ADAM knew EVE his wife; and she conceived, and bare CAIN, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD.

2 and she again bare his brother ABEL. And ABEL was a keeper of sheep, but CAIN was a tiller of the ground.

In their original Hebrew/aramaic names the two "brothers" are QAYIN and HEVEL.
In this we can see that with a silent H, Abel's pronounced name HEVEL becomes the english word ... EVEL (Evil)

CONCEPCION, Chile — Workers demolished a fallen 15-story apartment building that has come to symbolize Chile's earthquake after officials said there was no more hope for finding survivors inside.

The only known remaining victim not recovered from the Alto Rio building was 21-year-old Jose Luis Leon, whose father on Saturday shouted desperately into holes in the concrete cut by rescuers looking for trapped victims.

"Jose Luis! Jose Luis!" cried Jose Leon, who had been given permission by authorities for one last search through the rubble for his son.

There was no answer.

Shortly afterward, a yellow excavator began clawing into the concrete slabs and twisted metal to demolish the structure whose collapse during the Feb. 27 earthquake had moved Chileans. U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon visited the fallen apartment building in the quake-shattered city of Concepcion on Saturday.

"I am convinced that with your bravery and strong determination, you will rise back on your feet again to build a better future," Ban told Chileans.

Emergency workers said continuing aftershocks have made the rubble too unstable for firefighters to continue looking for Jose Luis Leon and there is no hope of finding more survivors in the Alto Rio building.

"The family understands that there is nothing else the firefighters can do," Cmdr. Juan Carlos Subercaseaux told Chile's Radio Cooperativa, suggesting that the son's body might be recoverable for burial once the demolition is done.

At least seven significant aftershocks shook Chile on Saturday, the largest with a preliminary magnitude of 5.1, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

No additional damage or injuries were immediately reported, but aftershocks have dangerously weakened buildings all across the disaster zone, including a 22-story office tower whose now-exposed upper floors have partly pancacked and threaten to crash down onto downtown Concepcion. The city's mayor has announced at least five contracts for controlled demolitions of such buildings.

At least 500,000 homes were destroyed, but the figure could reach 1.5 million once surveys are complete, Housing Minister Patricia Poblete said.

At least the Leon family knows the body is somewhere inside the wreckage of the Alto Rio. A week after the 8.8-magnitude earthquake and tsunami, hundreds of people are still searching for relatives with the help of community radio station Bio-Bio, which broadcasts their appeals day and night. With power still out in vast stretches of the disaster area, phone lines downed and cell service spotty, communication was difficult or impossible for most survivors.

U.N. programs already have delivered many tons of relief supplies and other aid, including 79 metric tons of high-energy biscuits and other food, enough to feed 35,000 children for five days.

Chileans also are helping themselves: The military is leading a massive relief and recovery effort, with air force planes landing every half hour in Concepcion, and a 24-hour national telethon aimed at collecting $30 million Saturday.

That's just a tiny fraction of the up to $30 billion experts have estimated will be needed for the recovery effort — a huge amount for a country with an annual budget of $42 billion, even though Chile has saved more than $11 billion in copper profits from the state-owned Codelco mining company.

Police flying over the destroyed port in the neighboring city of Talcahuano located another man's body, and divers recovered a boy's body in the coastal town of Pelluhue. In Chile's remote Juan Fernandez islands, where five were killed and 11 swept away in the tsunami, a burial service was held for 14-year-old Maite Arredondo.

With the tsunami wiping away entire communities and stranding wreckage miles inland in mainland Chile, the death toll has been difficult to determine. After first reporting higher figures, the Chilean Interior Department said it would release only the number of identified dead: 452 as of the latest announcement, on Friday.

Freak Storm Pounds Australia

Day of complete chaos as floods surge across two states RACHEL BROWNE AND KYM AGIUS

RESIDENTS in two states were battling against severe weather yesterday that brought record floodwaters, torrential rain, 100km/h winds and hailstones as big as golf balls.

Emergency services in the south-west Queensland town of St George were last night preparing for a flood peak expected to inundate 80 per cent of the town, as Melbourne mopped after a severe storm cell that wreaked havoc.

The Balonne River was already at a record 13.26 metres yesterday afternoon and the weather bureau has predicted it could peak at 13.5 metres - the highest level since recordings began in 1890.

About 40 of the town's 2800 residents were evacuated to a makeshift evacuation centre at the showgrounds. Residents from an aged care facility in the town, 500 kilometres west of Brisbane, were flown to the state capital.

Many St George residents, including Nationals Senator Barnaby Joyce, whose family home fronts the Balonne River, spent the day filling 4000 sandbags.

About 25 homes went under but the community appeared to be spared the worst last night.


''Nobody wants to spend the next couple of months with the smell of rotting carpet and underlay around their house,'' Mr Joyce said.

The flood peak will reach the Whyenbah and Dirranbandi area during the weekend.

Residents of the Banana Shire were also urged to prepare for possible evacuation due to predicted flooding in the area.

Heavy rain has hit the towns of Theodore, Moura and Baralaba, west of Gladstone, over the past week. Emergency Management Queensland asked residents to prepare for flooding in coming days.

"Theodore could become isolated and there is the possibility that low-lying homes will be inundated,'' the Banana Shire deputy mayor Maureen Clancy said.

Further south, residents of Cunnamulla braced themselves for a drenching more severe than the floods of 2008 when waters peaked at 9.91 metres. Cunnamulla is expected to be hit with a major flood peak of 10 metres early this week.

An area greater than that of the state of Victoria has been affected by the flooding in Queensland's south. In Melbourne, hail blanketed the city like snow as a thunderstorm ripped through the capital, forcing the cancellation of major events and damaging dozens of buildings. A total of 26 millimetres of rain fell in less than an hour, bringing emergency services to a grinding halt.

Hail up to 5 centimetres in diameter pummelled the streets.

''We don't often see storm cells like that,'' the bureau's senior forecaster, Richard Carlyon, said.

Southern Cross railway station had to be evacuated as heavy rain tore a hole in its roof. Train and tram services faced widespread delays as winds peaked at 100km/h.

By now the world has heard of the catastrophic earthquake that struck Port-au-Prince, Haiti on January 12, 2010... but there is recent troublesome political NEWS out of Haiti that is eclipsed by the tragedy.




After the USA and the UN worked so hard for nearly two decades to instill democracy in Haiti, the latest NEWS (1.11.2010) out of the carribean island nation that shares its landmass with the Dominican Republic, was that the current president Rene Preval was excluding the competition from the upcoming February 2010 election.

According to the Dominion Paper Californian Congresswoman, Maxine Waters, "qualified the Haiti's upcoming election to be a set back for Haiti's democratic development".

The U.S. Representative, Californian Congresswoman, a long-time supporter of democracy in Haiti Maxine Waters, qualified the Haiti's upcoming election to be a set back for Haiti's democratic development if these elections will not be fair and credible. Congresswoman Waters expressed her concerns about the upcoming elections in a letter addressing to Haitian President, Mr. Rene Preval.

Representative Waters' letter is one of dozens of letters that have been sent to President Preval, U.N's Secretary General and OAS' Secretary General about the upcoming flawed election in Haiti, scheduled for the months February and March.

Your Excellency:

I am writing to express my concerns about the decision of Haiti’s Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) to exclude more than a dozen political parties from the Parliamentary elections scheduled for February and March 2010. I am concerned that these exclusions would violate the right of Haitian citizens to vote in free and fair elections and that it would be a significant setback to Haiti’s democratic development.

As you know, I have a longstanding commitment to supporting democracy and development in Haiti. I led efforts in the United States Congress to obtain debt cancellation for Haiti. These efforts culminated in the World Bank’s announcement last June that Haiti reached the “completion point” for the Heavily Indebted Poor Countries (HIPC) Initiative and would receive complete cancellation of its multilateral debts. I am also working to increase United States bilateral assistance to Haiti.

It is imperative that Haiti’s next elections be free and fair and that they be perceived as free and fair. Political parties should not be excluded from an election without a legally compelling reason, determined through a transparent, impartial process.

The CEP, to my knowledge, has not provided a public, written explanation for the exclusions of the political parties from the upcoming elections. The CEP’s failure to explain the justification for the political parties’ exclusions for almost a month raises questions about the validity of these exclusions. The fact that the decision was made by a provisional CEP – one chosen by your office from a list of nominations from organizations selected by your office rather than according to the 1987 Constitution – also raises questions about the fairness of the process.

I urge you to take appropriate action to ensure that the upcoming elections in Haiti are free and fair. This includes taking appropriate action to ensure that the CEP: a) provides a complete, public explanation for the exclusions; and b) allows any political party that was excluded for anything less than a clear, compelling legal reason to fully participate in the February elections.

Please communicate with The Honorable Hillary Clinton, Secretary of State of the United States; The Honorable Eliot Engel, Chairman of the Subcommittee on the Western Hemisphere; and myself regarding the measures you take in this matter. I look forward to continuing to work with you to support democratic development in Haiti.

I suppose this may be overly cynical in light of the human tragedy, however, though the national debt may be forgiven, the rebuilding of Haiti by companies from around the world will ensure long term return and profits for those companies that participate in rebuilding the devastated nation.

The earthquake also ensures that the entire world, touched by the human tragedy, will equally contribute aid, medical supplies and food to the devasted nation.

The earthquake that struck Port-au-Prince, had aftershocks centered on the Champ de Mars plaza area that caused severe damage to the Presidential Palace.

and I'm sure we'll see the upcoming election be more open to all-comers and political parties - no matter who they may be beholden to.

Let's hope that the leaders of the nations of this world learn a valuable lesson from this terrible event. You cannot squirrel away the income of your nation, without playing ball and while your citizens wallow in misery, poverty and starvation and, whether by act of God or technology, be allowed to remain in power over a stable intact nation.

UN peacekeepers help prepare for election in Haiti

The United Nations says its peacekeeping mission in Haiti (MINUSTAH) is helping the impoverished Caribbean country prepare for upcoming legislative elections.

The UN said MINUSTAH is providing secondary support in logistics, security and raising public awareness, "while leaving the primary organising role to the national authorities".

The senior UN official in the southern region, Marco Donati, told a recent meeting to encourage young people to participate in the February 28 polls that it is the responsibility of the Haitian authorities to organise good elections.

"MINUSTAH is merely playing a secondary role in the elections," he added.

The UN said the mission is also helping the authorities to maintain a "stable political atmosphere, conducive to electing the country's legislators." ...more at story link above

The disaster in Haiti, affecting more than 3 million people, may be one of the most devastating tragedies ever to hit the United Nations, former President Bill Clinton told ABC News' George Stephanopoulos in an interview for "World News."
Clinton, who was appointed the United Nations' special envoy to Haiti in May 2008, said the U.N. itself has been hit hard.
"Our U.N. hotel, as you know, [was] five stories [and] completely collapsed. Today, only 10 people [were] recovered alive," Clinton told Stephanopoulos.
At least 16 U.N. employees, including chief of the U.N. mission in Haiti, Hedi Annabi, have died, with at least 56 more injured, a U.N. spokesman told ABC News.

'Fox News Sunday' Transcript: Presidents Clinton, George W. Bush Discuss Haiti Challenge



In this age of bold trickery and deceit in the face of tremendous human tragedy (Like the Haiti EQ, Indonesia Tsunami and Hurricane Katrina - to name just a few) it is difficult for the average person to know exactly which charity will actually make proper use of donations - Which charitable organization will put the money to uses other than the administration and perpetuation of its own existence...

Well, for the immediate future stillerstrong.org (operated by the actor Ben Stiller) is claiming that 100% of all donations will go DIRECTLY to the Haiti relief effort.


A GREY AREA of charitable aid and relief can also occur when one organization (NGO/NFP) raises money and then bulk donates portions of that money, after operating expense deductions to yet another larger or more well known charitable relief organization.

Take time to investigate the percentages of money received versus the percentage of money used for the cause to which you are donating before donating to ANY charitable organization. Remember that bigger or more in-your-face through advertising, TV spots etc. also means more operating / administration expense and often less percentage making it out of the NFP corporation to the people that need it.

UPDATE 3:
BBC - Strong aftershock shakes Haiti, week after earthquake

A strong aftershock has rocked Haiti, sending screaming people running into the streets, eight days after another quake devastated the country.

The extent of the damage is not yet known. The magnitude 6.1 tremor struck west of Port-au-Prince at 0603 local time (1103 GMT).

An estimated 200,000 people died in last Tuesday's quake and another 1.5 million were made homeless.

Despite an international aid operation, supplies are slow to reach survivors.

However, international teams are still rescuing people alive from the rubble, including a 69-year-old woman pulled from the ruins of a church in the capital. ...more at story link above...
